“The boating market is evolving towards new ways to purchase and use boats. As the market leader, we have to adapt to these new needs. We recently partnered with Sea Style to offer shared ownership solutions to our clients. We are also developing solutions for owners to be able to do a boat exchange program with other owners. We will soon offer training and technical tutorials to help owners learn about their boats, how to use them and how to maintain them.”

Lagoon itself was born of innovation and progression. The company began as an extension of the competition department of Jeanneau Technologies Avancees (JTA) in 1984. Inspired by unusual and imaginative innovations, the group carefully built and cemented its well-earned place in the industry.
“Lagoon has always been innovating since then, pushing boundaries to bring your home comfort on the water. Thanks to these efforts, sailors have realised that catamarans are an amazing platform on which to enjoy time with friends and family,” Mr Andrebe said.

“We were always pioneers in the catamaran industry. For example, we were the first to fit electrical engines in our boats back in 2006. Today, we are clearly leading the way in terms of sustainable initiatives to reduce our footprint at all levels of the boat life cycle. We are going to push even more and make announcements soon about this subject.”
