At 90ft-plus, the Sunreef 92 Double Deck has no less than 430m2 of living space.

Big Boat sailing with room for all your guests on this super yacht

Hitting lengths of 90ft-plus, a sailboat enters the maxi yacht class. And so it goes that luxury builder Sunreef Yachts enters this realm with the Sunreef 92 Double Deck… but as a catamaran.

This behemoth offers almost 430m2 of living space, twice as much as the 2012-model Sunreef 82 Double Deck. The latter is the entry-level model for the four-boat Double Deck range which tops out with the Sunreef 116.

Established by Frenchman Francis Lapp, Sunreef Yachts are built at Poland’s famous Gdansk shipyard. Specialising in semi and fully custom builds, Sunreef manufactures luxury catamarans from 60 to 200ft and launched its first boat in 2003.

The Sunreef 92 DD features an enlarged deckhouse and accommodation catering for up to 12 guests plus private crew quarters. Space is the theme of the main deck with a 54m2 saloon, navigation station and galley.

Described aas the “ultimate entertaining zone”, the 65m2 cockpit features a sofa and dining table while the sizeable sundeck encompasses the main helmstation, a dining area for up to 12, sunbathing pads and a wetbar with barbecue.

For watersports enthusiasts there is additional space dedicated to accommodating a tender and jetski, concealed in a purpose-built locker under the cockpit’s primary sunbathing pad.

The Sunreef 92 Double Deck master suite is situated in the fore of the yacht and according to local distributor Multihull Solutions, is designed and furnished to the highest industry standards. Of note are the king-sized bed, corner lounge precinct, office, roomy wardrobe area and en suite with his-and-hers vanity.

All guest cabins have queen beds, wardrobes and private en suites, as well as entertainment system and individually controlled air-conditioning. The Sunreef 92 DD also provides an option to convert the port hull into a fully equipped gymnasium and sauna room.

We’re told the big cat will be built of light, high-tech composite materials, which the shipyard introduced to its construction process in 2007.
