Queensland’s Multihull Solutions has been awarded Fountaine Pajot Worldwide Distributor of the Year title for consecutive years.
Fountaine Pajot, one of the world’s largest luxury catamaran builders, announced the title in July from head office in France. According to Multihull Solutions, the award acknowledged the Mooloolaba-based dealership for its “outstanding sales record that continues to eclipse other distributors from larger market regions including Europe and the United States”.
Multihull Solutions managing director, Mark Elkington said that receiving the title for the second year in a row was an outstanding achievement that the entire team was celebrating.
“We’ve all worked exceptionally hard over recent years to provide exceptional client service, which has translated into increasingly strong sales across the Fountaine Pajot range,” said Elkington.
Fountaine Pajot has a worldwide network of approximately 50 dealers responsible for all sales of the company’s sail and power catamaran range. Multihull Solutions said a dealer must sell approximately Euro 1.5 million per annum to maintain the exclusive dealership license with the Fountaine Pajot yard, and it had exceeded these targets with sales of more than Euro 10 million in the last two years.
“Fountaine Pajot catamarans offer the best balance of performance, value for money, offshore capability, safety and comfort above all other international production catamarans,” said Elkington.
