NEWS -CRUISER FIRE "NOT SUSPICIOUS"

Sunday, Apr 3: Qld Water Police attended a fire aboard an 11m motorcruiser in Tipplers Passage off South Stradbroke Island around 3.30pm. The blaze burnt the boat, which was on a swing mooring, to the waterline but nobody was injured during the incident, police said.

Investigations into the fire are continuing, however, initial indications suggest it may have started by a mechanical fault and is believed to be non-suspicious.
