NEWS - Cruise for a Cure delivers the goods

Full marks to Steve Batton Marine for staging last weekend’s inaugural Cruise for a Cure, a charity event devised by the namesake Sydney boat dealer to show that pleasureboaters do care. 

The cruise attracted a fleet of 45 boats and raised some $40,000 for cancer research. Moreover, of the 420 people that attended, 320 were sick kids and their families who were thrilled to sample a day’s luxury boating in Sydney and take their mind off more pressing matters. Plans are already afoot for next year.
