NEW YACHTS — Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409

NEW YACHTS - Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 makes local debut

The award-winning Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 409 will have its Australian launch on Tuesday, March 1
2011, between 4pm and 8pm at the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia.

Jeanneau Australia said the new yacht has a
clean and simple deck layout, with all sheets leading back to primary winches on both sides for ease of handling.

“The standard headsail is a 105 per cent overlap, but there is also a factory self-tacking headsail option, or for those who want to take it to another level, a performance 140 per cent racing genoa,” the boatbuilder’s local representative added.

“The new longer cockpit has a fold-down swimplatform and a large folding table that lends itself to entertaining family and friends.

“Down below, the rich interior with abundant hardwood trim highlights the traditional woodwork for which Jeanneau is known. Exceptional visibility and ventilation is achieved with an abundance of hull and opening ports and flush hatches,” said Jeanneau Australia.

Three layouts are available to suit individual requirements and there is a choice of traditional teak and holly or light oak floorboards. A choice of high-end contemporary upholstery options complements this modern design.
