NEW DESIGNS - Third cabin for Maritimo C47 Sports Cabriolet

Maritimo has released new interior layouts for its IPS pod-drive C47 Sports Cabriolet, including a three-cabin option.

“We have listened to our clients and can now offer a number of options, including more accommodation and a new L-shape galley layout,” said Maritimo’s Luke Durman.

According to the builder, the new galley offers more space in the saloon, with the TV cabinet moved slightly aft for easier viewing. Durman said the three-cabin design was possible because of the enormous size of the master stateroom in the original layout.

“Most of our clients love the full-beam stateroom with the large portlights flooding the room with light,” said Durman.
“Some asked us for more sleeping accommodation and we have been able to include a single-berth cabin on the starboard side of this area without sacrificing the comfort of the master double cabin.”

Maritimo said the C47 was the first boat in the Southern Hemisphere to achieve Volvo Penta Certified installation and is the first IPS-powered boat in the world to include the safety benefit of positive buoyancy tanks in the engine compartment.
