Southampton, UK, Sept 15: Australian underwater lighting specialist, Aqualuma, has taken out the prestigious Sunseeker International Best Customer Service award for 2010.
Aqualuma said it has enjoyed a longstanding relationship with Sunseeker, one of the world's premier luxury motoryacht manufacturers, since first fitting its underwater lights to the marque’s boats in 2006.
Aqualuma director Grant Amor, flew from Australia to the Southampton Boat Show to accept the prestigious award from CEO Robert Braithwaite.
“It is a tremendous honour to receive such recognition from Sunseeker for our product,” said Amor. “There is no doubt that Sunseeker expect the absolutely highest quality from all their suppliers, which go to constructing these world-class motoryachts. The Aqualuma product range, in particular our Thru Hull range that Sunseeker fits, meet these exacting standards and of course, most importantly, meet their clients expectations.”
Aqualuma said its Thru Hull range is non-corrosive and fully serviceable from inside the vessel.
According to the company, Sunseeker also made comment on the effectiveness of Aqualuma’s European Distribution Centre, which supplies the Sunseeker yard with all its underwater lighting requirements.
“It has allowed Aqualuma to respond to Sunseeker’s requirements with immediate affect,” said Brian Raine, managing director of the Centre. “On the rare occasion there has been a warranty issue, we have significant levels of stock and the technical expertise to ensure Sunseeker receives the standard of service they have come to expect.”
Aqualuma says the innovation in its new products continues with an LED Interior lighting range recently announced. With more than 40 different lighting combinations available, the company said it will now see its product range fitted to cockpits and saloons in vessels around the world.
