NEW YACHTS - FLYING FINNGULFS

A new player in the competitive Australian 30 to mid-40-foot fibreglass sailboat range is a new player, Finnish yachtbuilder Finngulf Yachts through Sydney dealership TLC Boat Handyman Services.

Established in 1981, Finngulf has built a reputation for manufacturing a range — from 331, 37, 41, 43 to 46 models — of quality, semi-custom yachts aimed at the cruising yacht market as well as the club racer.

331, 37, 41, 43, and 46 models are quality,

semi-custom yachts aimed at the cruising yacht market as well as the club racer.

“The nature and soul of FG yachts are based on the high demands of our customers. Typically, Finngulf owners average over 1000nm per year, living on board with their families and taking their boats out in all weathers,” said the Finngulf Yachts. “Carrying the most valuable crew you can think of, skippers are looking for uncompromised quality, packaged with good sailing performance.”

Finngulf says that its yachts are handcrafted with a harmonious blend of classic lines and impressive turns of speed, and come with a choice of customisation, including a choice of: internal and external colours; deck gear, and cabin layouts and fittings.

The newest of the fleet, the FG43 by Farr Yacht Design, is described as a fast performance yacht, but one that is easy to handle. It comes in two standard versions, one for racers and another for cruisers, and has two interior versions, the Classic, a traditional “Finngulf look” with satin varnished teak, and Modern, a lighter, contemporary, and more airy version.
