NEWS - CLIPPER APPOINTS AWARD-WINNING AGENT FOR NSW

Clipper Motor Yachts Australia has appointed Matthew Willett Marine as sole agent for the brand’s range of cruisers in NSW.

According to Brett Thurley, managing director of Clipper Motor Yachts Australia, “We couldn't be happier that Matt has chosen to join our team.

“I hold Matt in the highest regard. We have worked together previously and he is clearly among the finest marine professionals in Australia,” he said.

Matthew Willett Marine (MWM) is based at the Roseville Bridge Marina on Sydney’s North Shore.

Clipper said Willett had worked for eight years with a Sydney new-boat dealership before setting up MWM, twice gaining the Australasian Salesperson of the Year award based on sales numbers and customer service feedback. A former navigator for the Royal Australian Navy, Willett later gained a Master V commercial skipper ticket.

“The Clipper range represents high quality and great value for money,” said Willett. “The boats are ideal for the Sydney waterways and coastal cruising. I am excited to represent the Clipper brand.”

Willett said clients will be able to take advantage of on-site service at the marina by technicians. “We also have a full boat-slip service at the dealership,” he said.

Thurley said: “Matt makes a personal commitment to his clients and has proven ability to develop long-term business relationships. His experience as a Master V skipper helps him give owners hands-on confidence and experience when choosing their next boat.

“Matthew Willett Marine is an important part of Clipper Motor Yachts’ expansion in Australia and continues our one-on-one commitment with Clipper owners and future owners,” he said.

Thurley said that MWM would add a strong support for existing Clipper owners and the confidence for future owners to have the dealership behind the brand in NSW.

Clipper and MWM will celebrate their business alliance for clients in March with the display of a new Clipper Cordova 52 at Roseville Bridge Marine. Willett will also be on hand at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Qld, at the end of May, where the company plans to display the full Clipper Cordova semi-displacement range of 48, 52, and 60 models.

Clipper said it will conduct owners’ events and regattas at Roseville Bridge Marina over the coming year, and Willett will also be on hand at the Clipper on-water display at the Sydney International Boat Show starting at the end of July this year.
