NEWS - Maritimo expands service facilities in Sydney
Australian luxury boatbuilder, Maritimo, has approved National Marine Services to provide maintenance and warranty services for owners in Sydney.
National Marine Services has been maintaining and repairing luxury boats of all sizes on Sydney Harbour for more than 10 years and recently expanded to the new Sydney City Marine service centre at Rozelle.
Maritimo’s warranty manager, Greg Swain said the company had been impressed by the quality of service provided by Troy Higginbotham and his team at National Marine Services.
“Their commitment to client service is excellent,” he said. “Troy communicates well both with our clients and with the factory,” said Swain.
Higginbotham said the company’s move to Sydney City Marine had brought all services in-house.
“We can now provide the full range of service to Maritimo clients, from regular engine servicing to repairs, detailing and any warranty requirements in one place,” said Higginbotham.
“We have also developed an annual maintenance program for Maritimo owners. It is a comprehensive plan that covers every aspect of the boat, from detailing, mechanical servicing, pre-season checks, electrical monitoring as well as slipping and antifouling, all covered by a regular monthly payment. There are no sudden financial shocks and the boat is always in top condition,” he said.
National Marine Services said it can also provide a comprehensive aftermarket service, upgrading equipment, refurbishing interiors and adding new electronic systems.
“We are also involved with Maritimo owner-group events including a recent trip to the famed Peat’s Bite restaurant on the Hawkesbury River,” said Higginbotham.
