ACTIVITIES - Try Crewing Day - No experience necessary

The

Boating Industry Association of NSW

(BIA) with support from
Yachting NSW
is running a Try Crewing Day pilot study on
Sunday, September 20 at three yacht clubs across Sydney.

The BIA said it is expecting Try Crewing Day will become an annual event across NSW where the public will learn the basics of sailing
for free
on a yacht and discover just how easy it is to participate regularly at all levels.

All yacht clubs run regular social, twilight and racing days and evenings. An important part of the Try Crewing Day is to let you know how to become a part of these events.

The BIA said to be a part of the action, you must:

* Pre-register;
* Be aged 18 years or over; and,
* Because numbers are strictly limited, please ONLY register if you can participate on September 20. You will be notified by email with more information about the day.

For registration visit www.bia.org.au or phone the BIA on (02) 9438 2077 for more information.
