His professionalism, enthusiasm and sales results always go above and beyond expectations, which is why Riviera said Matthew Willet has been bestowed as its Salesman of the Year for Australia and New Zealand.

For the past seven years, Riviera said Willet, has seen the full cycle of the marine industry and is elated with his success at the company’s Dealer Awards held at the recent Sydney International Boat Show.

“While we have all gone through considerable change in the past few months, I am proud to be here representing what is a world-class product that has a very clear edge on our competitors in build quality and design,” said Willet.

“A quality product combined with a team of highly dedicated factory and dealership staff makes the purchase of a Riviera a very attractive investment, even in the toughest of times.

“The attitude and dedication of staff and dealers at this year’s Sydney International Boat Show was the best and most positive I have ever seen,” Willet said.

Riviera CEO, John Anderson said Matthew also won this title in 2007, which was a credit to his hard work, and determination.

“Matt’s a true professional, he is one of the hardest working salesmen within our network and he has developed a strong and loyal client base,” Anderson said.

Riviera said the Dealer Awards have been running for the past 15 years and are designed to recognise outstanding achievement and dedication to the Riviera brand.

Dealer of the Year was awarded to R Marine Sydney for having the highest number of new Riviera sales and deliveries in the 2008/2009 Australian financial year as well as outstanding customer feedback.

Anderson said R Marine Sydney sold more than 25 new Rivieras and more than 70 trade boats in this period.

“Their performance was clearly the best. We underwent a restructure in our Sydney R Marine operations in August 2008 when Mike Joyce and his team relocated to the premier Riviera site at Rushcutters Bay to sell the full Riviera range including Flybridge, Sport Yacht and Offshore Express models,” he said.

Service Person of the Year was awarded to Jon Dodds from R Marine Pittwater, located in Sydney’s northern beaches, for his total customer satisfaction and tireless dedication to Riviera.

Pittwater dealer principal Bruce Mitchell said Dodds played a huge part in the ongoing success of the Pittwater dealership and has maintained the highest service levels throughout the 12-month period.

“Jon is a highly valued part of the Pittwater team and there is no doubt he is a key reason why our dealership enjoys repeat sales from our loyal customers,” said Mitchell.
