Sydney-based Hills Marine has been appointed as an authorised sales agency for the fuel-efficient Prowler NZ 10.4 power cat from Formula Cruisers.

From the drawing board of renowned catamaran designer Jeff Schionning and built by Auckland-based Formula Cruisers, one of New Zealand’s most respected luxury boatbuilders, the Prowler NZ 10.4’s performance-pedigree and build-quality are ensured, said the dealership.
The twin-cabin/twin-en suite layout includes a full-size galley, comfortable dinette and large cockpit. Powered by twin 60hp four-stroke Yamaha outboards, the Prowler NZ 10.4 is said to be an ideal coastal cruiser with exceptional fuel economy (one litre per nautical mile at 15kts), shallow draft, stability and volume.

Formula said the Prowler NZ 10.4 can also be built to survey and would be an ideal self-drive charter or syndicated-owner vessel to take advantage of the current 50 per cent tax bonus scheme available.

This is hull No. 5 and the first Prowler power cat to be built by Formula Cruisers since the company acquired the brand. She is for an Auckland owner and will be launched in November in time for summer coastal cruising.
