YACHTS – MARTEN 67

YACHTS - Marten 67

Marten Yachts says the wait is over with the launch of one of the

world's most anticipated performance cruisers, its stunning Marten 67.

“This marks
the beginning of a new era at the company. Based on the hugely successful hull and rig of the Marten 49, the 67 will undoubtedly
prove itself
on the race course and cruising
on the ocean. Marten’s meticulous attention to detail, hull construction, sailing capability, balance and strength remains the best in the business,” said the Sydney-based yachtbuilder in a press blurb.

Marten 67 hull No.1 is said to feature a radically designed interior by Ali Taya of Parallel Design New York, showcasing high-grade fixtures and fittings,
innovative storage solutions and contemporary styling.

“She boasts a voluminous interior and
extensive headroom,
making the saloon a
spectacular space for relaxing or entertaining. With a U-shaped galley including two fridge units, comfortable seating and three large cabins, this yacht has a luxurious living space,” Marten Yachts.

In true
company style, Marten Yachts said the vessel
has been
handcrafted to produce a
masterpiece that combines the latest in technology
with premium quality finishes and exceptional performance.

“With the 49s
recent victory in the
2009 Giraglia Rolex Cup, one of Europe's most prestigious regattas,
the
new
Marten 67 is yet to
showcase her race-bred performance capabilities
on the world
racing scene,” the company said further.

Marten Yachts said reflective of its commitment to producing world class yachts,
hull No.2
is currently under construction and due for delivery later this year, while the next hull will be
available for delivery next year.

The company said as a pioneer in the evolution of carbon yacht construction, Marten Yachts are built to the highest standards and distinctive in character, with the range including the Marten 49, Marten 67, Marten 72 and Marten 85, from which some of the features will be found in the new 67.
