Phillip Island Marine new Caribbean dealer

Phillip Island Marine New Caribbean Dealer

The growth in population in the Phillip Island area of Victoria has brought with it the demand for larger boats and as a result, Phillip Island Marine, a long-standing Caribbean runabout dealer has recently been appointed as a Caribbean cruiser dealer, said the brand’s manufacturer International Marine.

“The introduction of the Caribbean cruiser range to our business now gives us the opportunity to expand and grow with the area,” said Scott Huther, owner of Phillip Island Marine.

“It gives us the ability to grow with our customers as they upgrade to larger models knowing that they have the backup of our extensive boat-storage facility, service centre and local knowledge.

“International Marine has noted the need to service this growing area of Victoria and believe this is best achieved via a local dealer,” Huther said.

International Marine said Phillip Island Marine has already placed and received delivery of their first orders; a Caribbean 24 Flybridge Sport Fisherman and a Caribbean 27 Flybridge Sport Fisherman (both these boats were displayed at the 2009 Melbourne Boat Show).

“The slow-down in the economy was not evident at the show, making it one of our best in many years,” said Scott, who added that the success has resulted in Phillip Island Marine ordering their next pair of boats.
