NEWS - Ferretti, Mochi and Pershing establish new Australian partnership

Sydney’s JW Marine has announced a new partnership with the iconic Italian yachtbuilder Ferretti S.P.A.

The Pyrmont dealership said Ferretti S.P.A, established in 1968, is now recognised as one of the world leaders in design and construction of luxury motor yachts.

“Ferretti Group encompasses a unique portfolio of nine of the world’s most recognised brands in the nautical world including Ferretti Yachts, Mochi Craft and Pershing,” said JW Marine.

Ferretti Group Sales and Service in Australia will be represented from two offices, one in Western Australia at JW Marine WA, South Perth, headed by John Farrell, and the JW Marine head office at Jones Bay Wharf, Pyrmont, in Sydney.

Established in 2003 by the Waters family, JW Marine said it has successfully launched and marketed the Beneteau Powerboat brand in Australia and NZ with more than 120 new Beneteau vessels delivered.

In 2008 Adam Waters, general manager of JW Marine was awarded the most successful worldwide Beneteau dealer by Volume for Beneteau Powerboats.

Waters said he is looking forward to a strong working relationship between the two groups.

New Ferretti models released recently include the 470, 510, 560, 592 and 631. JW Marine said these craft have been designed with the Australian boating market in mind and that the new-generation models incorporate features such as an aft galley, large protected cockpits, flowing design and full-beam master cabins.

JW Marine and Ferretti S.P.A said they will be offering exceptional incentives on all new Ferretti Group vessels sold over the next 12-month period in order to introduce the new partnership in the Australian market.
