BOATS - Bavaria Sport 28
Bavaria Yachts
launch a new Bavaria Sport 28, an all-round family sportscruiser it designed in conjunction with BMW DesignworksUSA, in Europe this coming September.
The company described the 28 as having clean lines that dominate the attractive design concept and including in it many new features plus with the room and spacious feeling which is normally only found with larger boats.
The new Sport 28, it added, offers everything for the best fun on water, with a modern hull and attractive design characteristics. The spacious interior, said Bavaria, has considerably more height in the saloon, with separate cabin, and an improved head.
The cockpit offers, in addition to a spacious swim platform, seating for at least five people and a functional wet bar, said Bavaria Yachts. The builder also offers the Sport 28 with four engine options — two petrol and two diesel — all from Volvo Penta.
“We have been loyal to our declared goal and have packed a lot of boat into our new Sport 28,” says Andres Cardenas, CEO Bavaria Yachts.
“The Sport 28 combines a visually challenging design with a genial functionality which is normally only found on larger boats.
“The room space is excellent and in cooperation with BMW DesignworksUSA, we have created a motorboat which ensures you have fun on the water, live your adventures — and all of this at great value for money,” Cardenas said.
Bavaria Yachts said it has set the European base price for the new Sport 28 even lower then her predecessor, the Sport 27, at €64,900 (excluding VAT).
