NEWS - Maritimo appoints WA dealer

Maritimo has appointed Martin Box Marine to represent the brand in WA. Chris Box, dealer principle, will head up the experienced sales and service team.

Box and his team have been in the WA marine industry for more than 30 years, and are said to be one of the biggest dealers and brokerage teams in the West.

Maritimo said Martin Box Marine boasts two of the most prestigious locations in WA at Freemantle Sailing Club and Hillarys. The dealership will be running a full Maritimo sales operation from both locations while the main servicing
will be carried out at the Fremantle site.

"It's great to have Martin Box Marine on board with Maritimo," said Maritimo marketing director, Luke Durman. "They are a highly professional outfit which will offer great service to our new and existing customers."

Durman said that the success of Maritimo in the West has led to the formal arrangement with Martin Box Marine: "In the past we have had a loose brokerage arrangement which has been very successful in WA.


“However with over 42 Maritimo boats in WA, we had to focus on a partnership with a company that manages the entire process — inventory, sales, service and warranty — Martin box Marine is that company," he said.

Chris Box was equally enthusiastic about representing the Maritimo brand in the West: "We're very enthusiastic about having Maritimo in the Martin Box stable," he said, "I will be handling the Maritimo brand myself and look forward to meeting all the new and prospective owners and carrying on the tradition of excellent service both in sales and aftersales that the company has earned over the years.”
