LIVE - SANCTUARY COVER INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW: OUR VERDICT

LIVE - SANCTUARY COVE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW: OUR VERDICT

The big players are pulling out all stops to reinvigorate the pleasure boat market and it’s our considered opinion that during times like this we inevitably see some really well thought-out boats. The cream always rises to the top.

What we found were less fringe boats and fewer fly-by-nighters. Instead, the Australian boating industry has returned to its core. And core values. This is a good thing. There are some great boats afloat. Boats that are enduring. Boats that make dollars and sense.

Savage weather and economic circumstances have conspired to make the 21st Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show the toughest on record. But pleasure boating remains a great passion for the nation.

Tradeaboat looks forward to reporting from the Sydney International Boat Show, the next big boat show in the national circuit. It opens July 30 at Darling Harbour. See www.sydneyboatshow.com.au for details. And see you there.
