The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show from May 21-24 is gaining irrepressible momentum. And even in these tough times, the event remains a key launch pad for local craft.
Allan Barnett Motor Yachts will have a new High Seas 63 foot long-range coastal cruiser with big cockpit; Perry Catamarans will showcase a motor-sailor version of the acclaimed Perry 57; and Maritimo will launch its 56 Cruising Motoryacht, as well as the Aegean 60, Aegean 55 (video hereabouts) and two smaller versions of the C60 Cabriolet - the C55 and C50 models.
Riviera will have a new 5800 Sport yacht and 3600 Sport Yacht Series II with Volvo Penta IPS, while Southern Clipper Boats will unveil a catamaran built around a frame of aluminium tubing. The hull cladding is polypropylene honeycomb foam said to be impervious to rot, fungus and sunlight.
