PROJECT BOAT - Ralfy IV
12 October, 2010
Ralfy IV, our Mariner Pacer 760 project boat, is barrelling along nicely, thanks to the good folk at Maritimo in Queensland. Here we bring you the latest progress pictures, taken late last week.
Ralfy's early adventures included the long haul from Sydney to the Gold Coast...
It's now dwarfed by the giants under construction at Maritimo HQ...
Maritimo has ensured the project boat gets its own space in the production shed...
Ah, now we're talking - a nice fresh engine awaits...
Not his best angle - the hull is to be resprayed in the next couple of weeks...
Just a taste of what we can expect for the interior. The warm wood tones really lift the feel...
There's still a long way to go with the fit-out, but the cabin is gradually taking shape...
That transom has been reinforced to take a stern drive...
Maritimo Production Manager Phil Frazer has taken a real shine to Ralfy - here he shows off the vessel's production schedule...
We reckon it's going to be a handsome gadget when it's done.
