So where would you take this prize if it was yours? We wanted to find out for ourselves so we took the Stabicraft 1650 Fisher and Majestic Series 2 Sierra Extreme on an adventure of our own. We tested both rigs and as it turns out, they can take you far and wide, from escaping winter on a cruisey trip to Tropical North Queensland to hunting marlin off the NSW Coast.

Chasing black marlin off the NSW coast

Not keen to take the Stabicraft all the way to the tropics? No problem. The 1650 Fisher is more than suitable for marlin fishing out of Broken Bay, NSW.

If (slightly) smaller fish are more to your liking, you can always take the Stabicraft to somewhere like Taylors Beach, by the Great Barrier Reef, to catch mac tuna.
