RYCK 280 - New Luxury Day Boat
The new luxury German brand RYCK is making waves in Australia with the RYCK 280!
RYCK is a new range of luxury sports day boats that combine the versatility of a RIB with the high-quality fittings usually found on luxury tenders.
Built by German power and sailboat specialist Hanse, the RYCK 280 boasts purposeful proportions that suggest it is based on a fast-planing sailboat hull. Its versatility means it’s capable of adapting to a wide variety of uses such as family entertainer, fast tender, adventure sports day boat or premium fishing platform.
The 280’s lines come from the pen of renowned UK yacht designer Bill Dixon. His two-stepped hull mixes air in with the water passing under the boat to cut down on drag, and combined with a reverse bow provides an exceptionally smooth, dry ride in all conditions.
Out on the water, performance is exhilarating with a top speed of more than 40 knots coupled with the most powerful of three Mercury Verado engine packages available, ranging from to 250hp to 350hp.
The RYCK 280 represents an innovative and fresh take on the highly popular sports day boat that has found plenty of converts in Australia.
Windcraft Yachts, the exclusive importer of the RYCK line in Australia, have secured one of the first hulls to come out of the factory in Germany. Several units have already been sold here, but additional stock is available and is timed to arrive in early 2023.
