Extensively upgraded and beautifully presented, this Catalina 400 MkII is a spacious, easily handled cruiser that is ready to take you well beyond the Australian coastline. The MkII cockpit is a real highlight, with its walk-through transom and swim ladder making life at anchor a pleasure, while the fibreglass dodger and rear canopy provide plenty of protection and the transom davit can carry the 2.8m Sirocco RIB with a Mercury 6hp outboard. The helm is superbly equipped with a full Raymarine package, including a 12 inch Axiom2 Pro multi-function display, EV-400 autopilot and wind, speed and depth instruments, along with an AIS transceiver and a Starlink Mini keeps you connected wherever you drop anchor. Sail handling is effortless with a North Sails 3Di boom furling mainsail, a radial cut furling headsail and all standing rigging was replaced in 2022. The auxiliary is a reliable Yanmar 56Hp diesel with feathering propeller and a bow thruster for stress-free marina work. Below deck, the light and airy saloon is complemented by a well-equipped galley with a large fridge and freezer, oven, microwave and three burner gas stove. The master cabin is a full beam suite and the forward V-Berth cabin also has its own bathroom. The dinette converts to another large double along with the lounge which makes a comfortable single bunk. For extended stays there are two solar panels, MPPT charge controllers, a 2000 watt inverter and 405 litres of water so you can stay out longer. This is a genuinely turn-key cruising yacht that is ready to go and available for inspection in Coogee with the Pen available to approved applicants.
