Thank you to RQYS - we just want to say our sincere thanks to you and your team Andy, Sonya, Phylia, Tess and Tori you are simply amazing. For our wedding on the 22.02.2025- the venue was amazing,  the guests had the best time and loved the food and the set up. We had no stress for an event that was organised a year in advance and you and your team looked after us and our guests from Friday through to Sunday! Love the Laughrens! If you are looking for a wedding venue in the beautiful bayside - this is it! ❤️

We had a lovely breakfast at RQYS while watching a local school learning to sail under the expert instruction of the sailing school instructors and assistant instructors. Safety was very high on the agenda and all the kids appeared to be having a lot of fun while at the same time learning some very important skills.

Today was my son’s birthday so I asked him to come for lunch at RQYS as we have been there before and it was quite nice. Today wasn’t one of those days as my son ordered the Scotch Fillet and for $39 it was tough had gristle and was not medium rare the chips were covered in Parmesan cheese I also asked for pepper sauce and my son just received a gravy. I understand it was going to be busy from 4pm with a function but that was no excuse as we were paying customers at that time.
When we arrived the man who was running around filling up the ice came up to the waitress in a loud voice and rude saying have you told everyone that we’re expecting 200 people here today she replied no sorry but I will start to let our customers know.

Great location and venue to eat and drink but was very disappointed in the price of the food for what we got. Overpriced is sadly the norm there. The beer seemed flat. Some of the staff were very pleasant. We loved Taylah, she was the best.
Breakfast was nice.
We’ll visit again only because of the convince to the motel.

We used to be regulars at the restaurant at the RQYS and always found the food to be decent for the price. However, after their recent renovations, we’ve returned a few times, only to be disappointed each time by the quality of the food in relation to the cost. With so many other dining options in Manly offering better value and taste, we’re unlikely to return unless there are some significant changes to their current offerings. The location is still beautiful, so I’ll give it two stars for the setting, but unfortunately, the food no longer lives up to expectations.

“Gauntlet” is a fantastic yacht I have skippered, sailed and raced over the last 20 years. I have owned her for the last 4 years and plan to spend more time cruising in the future. Gauntlet is a highly competitive Sydney 36 with an excellent race record at RQYS.
